The 529 OBBBA Qualified Expense Navigator is a static, client-side tool. There is no account, no login, and no server that receives your inputs.
What we collect
Nothing about you, server-side. Specifically:
- No account, no sign-in. The tool works anonymously.
- Your inputs never leave your browser. The expense type, state, year and amounts you enter are processed in JavaScript on your device to show a result. They are not transmitted to us or anyone else.
- Local storage only. Your most recent selections are saved in your browser's
localStorageso the tool remembers them on your next visit. This stays on your device; clear your browser data to remove it. - No third-party trackers or ad networks.
Analytics
If privacy-friendly, cookie-less site analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) are enabled in the future, they record only aggregate page-view metrics and never your inputs or anything that identifies you. As shipped, no analytics script is loaded.
Affiliate links
This site may, in the future, include clearly-labeled affiliate links to related services. If enabled, such links carry a visible disclosure, and clicking one may share standard referral information with that third party under their own privacy policy. None affect the information or results the tool shows. As shipped, no affiliate links are present.
